TOM ROSENTHAL – IT’S OK

GIGAMESH – BACK TO LIFE

Happy Friday

THE MAGICIAN – SUNLIGHT FEAT. YEARS AND YEARS

BØRNS – 10,000 EMERALD POOLS

Happy Monday Kids. Only 5 days til the weekend!

VITA BERGEN – CURTAINS

If it’s one song you listen to this week, it needs to be this one. At first, I thought it was Arcade Fire. This swedish band may very well be the next big thing.  Duo William Hellstrom and Robert Jallinder dropped their self titled EP last week and it’s pretty bold. Apparently their live show is an epic experience and we will be all over it when they finally come to NYC. Right now, if you’re lucky enough to be in the Finland area, check them out. This is the real deal.

AYER – FIGHT YOUR FIRE

So I posted one of AYER’s songs last week in anticipation for CMJ. He did NOT disappoint. He gets another. Incredible vocals, synthy slow R&B beats. I dig, I dig.

IN-FLIGHT SAFETY – ANIMALS

We had the pleasure of catching a great line-up of CMJ acts last night. All of which were very impressive and definitely bands to watch. The first band of the night was In-Flight Safety which was comparable to The Killers circa 2003. A bunch of Canadians playing their little indie hearts out to an (almost) empty room, and they were nothing but excited to be there… despite being a band for 11 years. Those Canadians sure are polite.
Have a listen, its a good vibe for a rainy Thursday.
