The official video for “Hollywood featuring Penguin Prison,” the debut single from RAC, provides the perfect backdrop to this track. Beautifully shot in Los Angeles and directed by Ryan Reichenfeld, the video features André Allen Anjos (RAC) along with Chris Glover (Penguin Prison). If you pay close attention, you might even catch a cameo by Rose McGowan. The video tells the story of an 1850′s cowboy and his horse as they experience and explore modern day LA. The cowboy, completely out of his element, longs for something familiar and he might just find it in the end. The surreal storyline paired with Reichenfeld’s rich cinematography blend together to capture the essence of this track in a surprising way. Off their latest album The English Riviera, The Bay has has somehow fallen in the shadow of what I consider a less attractive song, The Look. Why is The Look getting played 3 – 5 times a day on the radio and the rest of the album is being overlooked? Because their greedy bastards and their gunna milk it for all its got, butchering one song at a time until theirs nothing left but bones. I HATE YOU RADIO and who evers behind your evil nazi ways.
