THE XX @ SNUG HARBOR 8/6/12

Last night I had the supreme pleasure of attending The XX at Snug Harbor. To describe the show in a single word “intimate” would be the unanimous adjective from the crowd. With my expectations set so high I was almost certainly setting myself up for disappointment. Fortunately the night played out in my favor and The XX delivered a show second to none. A brilliant light show and devoted fan base for a crowd provided a chilling atmosphere in the 120 year old music hall. Their level of professionalism on stage demanded the respect of all attendees, never missing a note, never fumbling on a lyric, never signaling the soundboard for adjustment. They could not have had a more perfect end to their North American tour.
